Prints in Paris 1900: From Elite to the Street

The Van Gogh Museum is home to one of the world’s finest collections of French prints of the fin-de-siècle (1890–1905). This stunning catalogue, based on several years of intensive research into these works and their original context, takes the reader on a whirlwind tour of Parisian printmaking, from elite to the street. With 192 pages, 185 colour illustrations and a free print from Félix Vallotton, La paresse, 1896, 25 x 33 cm. The exhibition, "Prints in Paris 1900: From Elite to the Street", is on show at the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam from March 3 till June 11 2017.
