I am an art historian, specializing in the visual and material culture of Western Europe, especially Germany and the Low Countries, from around 1350 to 1650. I earned my PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. My research on Peter Paul Rubens, early modern masculinity, and the male body has been generously funded by an Andrew W. Mellon Graduate Fellowship at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and by a Rubenianum-Belgian American Educational Foundation (B.A.E.F.) Fellowship. |
