Gallery Director oversees and coordinates the business operations of the nonprofit Tamarind Institute gallery, including print sales and marketing. With limited supervision, the Gallery Director coordinates the planning and execution of art fairs, gallery exhibitions, regional pop-up shows, public programs, and marketing campaigns to promote the vast print inventory. The successful candidate will have a background in gallery work, general knowledge of contemporary art and print history, familiarity with databases and design software, an outgoing, collaborative personality, and an ability to engage new collectors and established audiences around contemporary prints.
