Project Coordinator, Monotype Guild of New England

Description:
The Monotype Guild of New England is currently seeking a part-time Project Coordinator who will support the organization’s needs through a variety of administrative roles, as well as assist in the planning and execution of our upcoming National Exhibition. Reporting to the Board of the Directors, the Project Coordinator will act as liaison between the board members, committees and the membership. They will also help coordinate the development and delivery of digital content across digital platforms including our website, social media and email marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
At the direction of the Board of Directors, execute online campaigns for exhibitions, events and programs, via email, digital, and social media marketing;
Coordinate digital asset workflow and process, including organizing submitted material and content from artist members
Assist with the administration of online members management system and exhibition submission platform;
Update website content via Word Press, including exhibition pages, calendar, member gallery,blog, including photography; audio; video
Facilitate email marketing, including creating and updating email templates; coordinating content for e-newsletters, invitations, and announcements, and maintaining segmented email lists;
Manage, schedule and post content on social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram in coordination with strategic promotion of exhibitions and events;
Monitor social media channels and engage with active users; develop social media influencers;
Utilize analytics and other measurement tools to assess and report on the impact of online marketing.

Qualifications:
This is a part-time role for an independent individual who is available 20-25 hours/month, with hours being flexible. As MGNE does not have a brick-and-mortar base of operations, the Project Coordinator will work remotely, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. However, the Project Coordinator is required to attend monthly project meeting conference calls, in-person board meetings, and exhibition related programming and events that are scheduled throughout New England.Applicants who have experience in arts administration or marketing/communications with a strong interest in the arts are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be creative, independent, organized,enthusiastic, highly motivated, and possess computer skills including Word and Excel. Candidates are required to have experience in the management of social media content and platforms (Facebook, Twitter,Instagram), e-mail management platforms (Constant Contact or Mailchimp), and WordPress. Familiarity with Photoshop, Basecamp, Dropbox, and Hootsuite, but not required. Ideal candidates will have experience in digital multi-media marketing, and/or communications and/or other experience related to this field of work; Strong project management skills; Strong writing skills and experience writing for online platforms; Attention to detail and experience with self-editing and fact checking of content.

About this Organization: C Dedicated to the art of the unique print, the Monotype Guild of New England (MGNE) is a national, nonprofit organization that fosters understanding and appreciation of monotypes and monoprints. Based in Cambridge, MGNE sponsors exhibitions, workshops, and other special programs for its members and the public. Currently there are over 250 members, who volunteer for the Board as well as exhibition and workshop duties.
