Postdoc in Berlin: 15th/16th Century South German Printmaking
The Technische Universität Berlin is accepting applications to an open postdoctoral Research Assistant position (limited term from November 1, 2020 - October 31, 2023).
Working field:
- Collaboration in the “Print as Process” project within the DFG Research Unit “The dimensions of techne in the fine arts”
- Working on the sub-project "The Third Dimension of Woodcut" focusing on South German printing blocks of the 15th and 16th century
- Planning and organizing of project-related scientific events
- Scientific contribution to applications for external funding

Requirements:
- Higher university degree (Master’s, Diplom, or equivalent) in the science of art/art history and an outstanding doctorate on the art of the early modern period, print, artistic techniques, or materials research
- Team skills, organizational skills
- Good command of German and/or English is required; willingness to learn either English or German
- Willingness to participate in interdisciplinary research projects
