Features mixed media artists who carve, gouge, fold, collage, and manipulate books to transform the printed pages into a sculptural object. Exhibited works will explore the materiality of the object, layers of meaning within, communication and cultural connections, design potential, and possible extinction of books in today’s tech-driven world.
