“In Memoriam” a.k.a. ‘The North Portal of Chartres Cathedral’ by John Taylor Arms (1887-1953)

This last week Gala and I were in Washington state where we purchased a collection from the estate of an old friend and client. Included in the collection were 80 John Taylor Arms etchings. Though, at this time his work is not highly regarded, his amazing skills with detail stands alone in the print world. Like I did with Max Pollak's work I will be featuring one Arms every week on the Print og the Day!! running the price range from the hundreds into the thousands, but all done exhibiting Arms' unique skill with the burin. We will be adding them to the gallery website daily for a week or so as we catalogue each impression.
