The Department of Fine Arts at Kwantlen Polytechnic University invites applications for a Non-Regular (NR2) 100% position commencing September 1, 2021 – August 31, 2022. The applicant should be able to teach the following courses:

• FINA 1142 – Introduction to Print Media
• FINA 1242 – Print Media II
• FINA 2342 – Print Media III
• FINA 2442 – Print Media IV
• FINA 1145 – Monotype

The ability to teach introductory to advanced Print Media courses will be considered an asset. Courses may be scheduled in three terms during the contract year, at the Surrey campus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have an MFA with a concentration in Print Media, a current exhibition record, and experience in post-secondary teaching. They will also have technical and safety knowledge of materials, processes, and equipment, including studio lighting, digital and darkroom practices.
