Faculty Non-Tenure-Track-9 Month (Print Media) – School of Art at Kent State University
The School of Art at Kent State University seeks an artist with an emphasis in printmaking for a one-year term (non-renewable), full-time appointment. Candidates should also be prepared to teach printmaking at all levels, including Printmaking 1 (with projects in intaglio, monotype, and woodcut), intermediate media-specific classes (serigraphy, intaglio, and/or lithography, dependent on candidate's area of expertise), and a graduate seminar emphasizing contemporary approaches. Assignment to begin August 21, 2017.
Qualifications: Candidates should have MFA in visual arts and at least two years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Ideal candidates will present a record of demonstrated professional achievement. We seek versatile, energetic, and collaborative faculty members interested in broad arts and education issues, as well as in her/his own professional practice.
