What is a Panel?
A panel is a topic of conversation pitched to the local steering committee pertaining to anything of interest to printmakers and print enthusiasts. The selected panels are chaired by the person who submits their application in the Round 1 Call for Participation. Individuals interested in speaking on one of the selected panels contact the Panel Chair directly during the Round 2 Call for Participation. The steering committee requests that the Panel Chair choose two individuals to be on their panel from the Round 2 Call, and one individual that they personally request. SGCI encourages the inclusion of student members on panels. Panels typically consist of four people.

What is a Themed Portfolio?
Themed Portfolios are curated by SGCI Members and are based on the conference’s theme. Usually around 20 different Themed Portfolios are displayed during the conference. Participants receive a portfolio with a full set of prints—a print from each participating artist. One copy of the portfolio is donated to the conference’s host institution/s and one copy is donated to the SGC International Archive at the Zuckerman Museum of Art at Kennesaw State University.

¿Qué es un Panel?
Un panel es un tópico de conversación sometido ante el comité timón local, sobre cualquier asunto de interés para grabadores y entusiastas del grabado. Los paneles seleccionados son presididos por la persona que somete la propuesta en el Nivel 1 de la Convocatoria de Participación (Round 1 Call for Participation). Las/los interesados en hablar en alguno de los paneles seleccionados deben contactar directamente a quien presida dicho panel durante el Nivel 2 de la Convocatoria de Participación (Round 2 Call for Participation). El comité timón requiere que la presidencia de cada panel seleccione tres integrantes: dos de la lista del Nivel 2 de la Convocatoria, y uno por invitación libre. SGCI exhorta la inclusión de estudiantes en los paneles. Los paneles usualmente tienen cuatro integrantes.

¿Qué es un Portafolio Temático?
Los Portafolios Temáticos son curados por miembros de SGCI y se basan en el tema del congreso. Por lo general, se muestra unos 20 Portafolios Temáticos durante el congreso. Cada participante recibe un portafolio con una selección completa— un grabado de cada artista participante. Una copia del portafolio es donada a una institución de la sede del congreso y otra pasa al Archivo de SGCI en el Museo de Arte Zuckermann en la Universidad de Kennesaw.
