Best known for his large-scale woodcuts, Tom Hück's brash sociopolitical commentary draws from great satirists like Hogarth, Daumier, and R. Crumb. His technique, however, is inspired by the famed German woodcut artists of the Northern Renaissance, Albrecht Dürer and Martin Schongauer, among others. Hück and Curator of Works on Paper Andi McKenzie discuss these influences and Huck's creative enterprise, Evil Prints, where he creates his own work and trains the next generation of remarkable printmakers.
