Call for Entries: UnEditioned

UnEditioned is an international juried exhibition focused on the unique print. Participating artists are invited to share their expanded practice in printmaking. Submitted work should substantially incorporate printmaking techniques (this can include traditional methods or newer technologies), but cannot be editioned in the traditional sense. This is an online exhibition and the work can take any format or dimension.

ENTRY FEE:

$40 non-members; $36 members (10% off), maximum of 2 works

DATES:

Entry Deadline: April 15, 2021
Acceptance Notification: May 17, 2021
Exhibition: June 1 – July 31, 2021
Virtual Award announcement and reception: 1 June 2021, 5 - 6pm

Prize winners will have the opportunity to speak about their work at the virtual reception. They will be notified in advance so there is ample time to prepare.

$500 - 1st place
$300 - 2nd place
$200 - 3rd place

REQUIREMENTS

Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in automatic disqualification.

- All artworks must be a unique impression (an un-editioned print). 
- Works must contain some form of printmaking including: Intaglio, Silkscreen, Relief, Monotype, Lithography, Collagraph, Mixed Media, Risograph or Digital Works. Must be 2-dimensional.
- Works dated 2015 or later will be accepted.
- All artwork entered must be for sale. * Consider the extra cost of shipping when you price the artwork, an average price is about $25 for a small work under 15 inches in any direction; $40 or more for larger works up to 30 inches.
- Photographs or reproductions of artwork originally produced in another medium will not be considered.
- Open to artists over the age of 18 only.
- Submit a high-quality JPG image at 72 dpi resolution and max of 1000 pixels in longest direction.
- Label your image files as follows: Last Name_First Name_Title. Titles may be abbreviated for length, but it should correspond with information on the form. 
- There are no dimensional limitations to the work itself.
- Artwork must be able to be safely shipped flat. Special arrangements will be required for artwork that must be rolled.
