Call for Entries: SMALL FORMAT 2017 (Dublin)

SMALL FORMAT is an International Mini Print exhibition organised by Black Church Print Studio promoting the diversity and creative processes of printmaking. This is a new addition to Black Church Print Studio’s program. This invitation is open to professional artists nationally and internationally. Images made using all printmaking techniques from traditional techniques such as lithography, relief, screen, etching to contemporary digital processes will be accepted. All works should measure 30cm × 30cm. SMALL FORMAT will be exhibited in the prime location of The Library Project in Temple Bar in Sept 2017. Deadline for entry is 5pm Friday, August 4, 2017. The opening of SMALL FORMAT will take place on Thursday, 28 September 2017 at The Library Project, 4 Temple Bar, Dublin 2. This exhibition will be open everyday from 11am – 6pm until Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

RULES OF ENTRY:

All printmaking techniques are welcome.
Applications may be submitted by email only to info@print.ie. Subject matter of email should read SMALL FORMAT and total size of email should be no larger than 20MB.
Deadline for entry is 5pm, Friday August 4, 2017.
Size of paper: 30 cm x 30 cm. Different image size configurations are acceptable but paper size should be consistent.
A maximum of five prints can be entered per participant and can be from an edition or different prints.
An entry fee of €20 is required. Click HERE to pay.
Unframed / un-mounted work only. Please ensure that all prints are in excellent condition.
Please complete the SMALL FORMAT application form (available to download from www.print.ie)
Include CV (2 page max)
Artworks will be available for sale for €100 or less at the exhibition.
There is a 35% sales commission on sold works.
At least one of the selected works will be displayed on gallery wall and the remaining prints will be available for viewing in the gallery browsers.
Following the exhibition at The Library Project works will be posted back before October 20, 2017.
Black Church Print Studio is not responsible for damage or loss during handling by the postal service.
