Assistant Director, Printmedia Technical Facility
Mission:
Serve the contemporary instructional needs of SAIC faculty and students by providing management of facilities and resources for teaching and learning. Implement services provided by the Printmedia Laboratory / Production Facilities that support the academic curricula of the Department. Strive to provide responsive, courteous, and efficient support to faculty and students.
Basic Function:
Leads the day-to-day management of and operations for the Printmedia Department Laboratory / Production Facilities. Manage budget and expenses related to studio maintenance and inventory. Provides instructional and technical assistance to students and faculty. Maintains studio equipment and inventory. Ensures safe working practices on all lab equipment and processes. Trains and supervises Graduate Lab Monitors, Undergraduate Lab Monitors.
