Art – Assistant Professor of Printmaking
The Art Department at Old Dominion University seeks an Assistant Professor of Printmaking. This is a full time, tenure track position with a starting date of July 2017. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The ODU Art Department currently offers classes in screenprinting, relief print, lithography, letterpress, and alternative methods. The printmaking area has a fully equipped screenprinting facility, a large collection of lithography stones, and well over 1000 type specimens in the letterpress collection. The position is a ten-month contract, with a teaching load of five courses per year. In addition to teaching printmaking and foundations classes, responsibilities also include standard service duties such as facilities and resource management, program development, student advising, and participation on department, college, and university committees.
