Adjunct Instructor, Printmaking (Etching)

Start Date- Fall Semester, 2018 / Department -Printmaking / Tuesday & Thursday from 12:30 to 3:10pm

This course is an introduction to the intaglio process of printmaking. Through a series of projects, students develop work in dry point, etching, aquatint, soft ground, and relief etching. Class structure allows for work in various processes and encourages long-term projects.

This is an adjunct position.

Qualifications:
An M.F.A. in printmaking or related experience is required. One to three years higher education teaching experience preferred.

Generalist in the printmaking field with a focus on etching. Digital experience is also preferred ( Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design or similar.)

Additional Requirements
Position takes place in an educational environment; manual dexterity to use computers is required.

The ability to lift heavy materials (30lbs).

The ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
