A.W. Mellon Fellow for Prints, Drawings, and Photographs

The Saint Louis Art Museum is seeking an A.W. Mellon Fellow for Prints, Drawings and Photographs. This is a full-time, limited term (3-year) benefited position reporting to the Curator of Prints, Drawings and Photographs. The main purpose of this Fellowship is to research and evaluate collections of late 20th and early 21st-century American prints in the Museum and in other Saint Louis collections, and to collaborate with the Curator of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs in the organization of an exhibition and catalogue based on the material. During the 3-year term, the Fellow will work with members of the Department of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs as well as staff throughout the Museum and colleagues and collectors in the community

M.A. in modern and contemporary American Art History or related field required; Ph.D. and specialization in the history of prints and printmaking strongly preferred. Minimum two years previous museum experience is also desired in addition to a demonstrated commitment to scholarship through research, exhibitions and publications.
