Intern, Curatorial โ Prints, Drawings and Photographs
The Curatorial Intern in the Department of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs will learn about the care and research of works on paper collection at a major museum.
Duties will include:
- Assistance with research and cataloging of new acquisitions.
- Assistance with exhibition research, checklist management, and development of prints, drawings, and photography exhibitions.
- Assistance with planning enrichments and programs that support the Department of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidates should have a background in one of the following areas of study at an undergraduate Junior level or above or a related field at an accredited university:
- Art History
- Fine Arts
Candidates must have at least introductory art history coursework and at least two specialized courses in art history listed on their resume. Research experience and interpersonal communication skills are required. Experience with handling artwork is preferred.
Proficiency in latest version of Office 365, including SharePoint, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel is required.
This internship is blended and will include on site and virtual work.
