Grabados de Picasso en la colección de la Fundación Juan March

Pablo Picasso (Málaga, 1881 - Mougins, 1973) always placed a great importance to printmaking, creating more than two thousand works between 1899 and 1972, and acting almost like a diary of his life as an artist during this period.

This exhibition presents the graphic work of Picasso, alongside the prints of some of his contemporaries, from the collection at the Museu Fundación Juan March. A selection of prints is presented that allows viewers to recreate the trajectory of the artist from his earlier career through his first forays into Cubism and to recognize the formal and iconographic issues that interested him at those moments.
