As a result of the departure of the previous job holder, we are looking for a conservator with a special focus on Old Masters. You can expect a demanding activity with focus on the care and mediation of the collection as well as on the conception of exhibitions and innovative mediation programs - also at the interface of art and science and with new digital forms.

They look after the collection in close cooperation with the director, both scientifically and conservatively. They also write texts for publications and contribute to the development and implementation of new, interactive forms of communication in the analog and digital space. They collaborate in the initiation of scientific projects on selected collections. In addition, you look after users, provide information about the collections and are responsible for the collection library. They support the director in maintaining contacts with collectors, museums and research institutions as well as with the procurement of third-party funds.

You have a doctoral degree in art history. Profound knowledge in the field of printmaking with a focus on Old Masters as well as several years of museum experience distinguish you. You are familiar with the digitization and database-driven development of collection collections and have exhibiting and publishing experience. You are well connected in the national and international museum landscape. They bring with them great interest in interdisciplinary issues as well as in the development of new groups of visitors. As a resilient, dynamic personality you are characterized by communicative skill, team spirit and a quick understanding.
