Toulouse-Lautrec and the Stars of Paris

During a relatively brief career, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec produced over 360 prints and posters, a number of which rank among the best-known images in the history of art. This lecture examines the importance of the printmaking technique of lithography to Toulouse-Lautrec’s representation of celebrities in Paris around 1900.
