Professor Jenny Schmid (University of Minnesota Twin Cities) has been awarded the Mid America Print Council Outstanding Printmaker Award. She will be giving an artist talk and exhibiting her work at Barnes Ogden Art and Design Complex from September 17–October 14, 2026. The conference "Printelligence" takes place October 7-10, 2026 at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. Other featured speakers are Jennifer Roberts and Dario Robleto. Schmid's exhibition "Collaborating with Ghosts" will feature the folio “Disembodied/Reembodied: The Gaze and Dysphoria of Medical Images of Women’s Bodies'' that was created in collaboration with the Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology and Medicine at the University of Minnesota.
