Research/Current Projects | Informed by my work as an artist, printmaker, collaborator, mentor and educator, my practice-led research focuses on the material, practices, and environments of stone lithography. My proposition is that the particularities of stone lithography facilitate a process of language making that is performed on a cusp between a pre-conceptual field of forces, and the structured configurations of a system. And that it is from the dynamic tensions of this scriptural space, that both the material inscriptions of lithography, and the written texts of language are born. The outcomes of this research are both visual (bookworks, lithographs), and written. |
