Research/Current Projects My in-progress dissertation project considers acts of translation between printed images (including early photography) and printed textiles in France and Britain during the first half of the nineteenth century. How did imagery and techniques associated with various types of printmaking filter into textile design and production; and how were these designs then re-adapted graphically for printed media aimed at both producers and the public?
