Director, Leopold Hoesch Museum and Paper Museum

The Leopold Hoesch Museum in Düren is one of the major art museums in the Rhineland with a national reputation and can look back on more than one hundred year history and tradition of collecting that are, as the foundation for a dynamic and contemporary art undertook mediation work. Your tasks:
- Leadership and profiling of museums as well as strategic and conceptual direction considering the duality of both houses
- Management of a dedicated team

- Concept development for digitization as a challenge for all areas of the museum

Your profile:
The requested person should have several years of experience in the development and transmission of artistic content, including the urban society and the management of financial budgets. Desired are strong leadership skills, a high level of communication skills and expertise in the new conceptual design of structures and processes.

- A possible proven scientific expertise with a doctorate
- expertise in the fields of classical modern art, concrete art and contemporary art, enthusiasm for paper art in terms of maintaining, expanding and exploring the collection
